“During Ukraine” is a work-in-progress performance developed during a three-month residency at Rote Fabrik in Zurich. The piece emerges from a close artistic collaboration between Yevheniia Vidishcheva, a documentary theatre director and performing artist from Kyiv, and Ketty Ghnassia, a Zurich dramaturg and performance artist.
The research centers on questions of identity and memory. It reflects on lived experiences shaped by the ongoing war in Ukraine and on the shifting geography of places that have been destroyed or occupied.
